THE ASIAN FORUM ON GRAPHIC SCIENCE

On December 6-7, 2021, the Asian Forum on Graphic Science 2021, organized by The Hongkong Polytechnic University, took place. Due to the epidemiological situation, it took the form of a webinar.

AFGS is a conference mainly devoted to digital graphics, mainly Asian countries take part in it. One of the partners of the Game Lab – International Laboratory for Game Studies Design project is Tokyo University of Technology and it was thanks to the recommendation of its professors that we were invited to present the Game Lab project.

As part of AFGS 2021, an independent section entitled Game Lab Challenge Workshop & Virtual Gallery, during which 7 presentations were presented by 12 lecturers from partner universities from Japan, Mexico, USA, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.

A report on the implementation of the ART task was also presented, presenting the work of 17 artists in the form of documentation from the stationary exhibition entitled „Industrial Landscape” realized at the Automotive Museum in Tarnowskie Góry and built for the purposes of the Virtual Gallery NAWA project for the presentation of multimedia works.

Additionally, the project coordinator, Prof. Małgorzata Łuszczak from the University of Silesia and professor Kunio Kondo from Tokyo University of Technology in order to present the entire Game Lab project.

Apart from scientists and artists, the conference was attended by several dozen students from Poland and partner universities.
